Rubbish signal yet again!

Steve Oswick
Active Contributor

I see the Rugby area is suffering the usual issues of constant data and calls dropping out and back in yet again.

Been like this for over a fortnight now and getting a bit tiresome tbh.

I suppose all this nice weather is now to blame after all the horrible weather.

Is the air too warm for the waves? 🤪

Is there a Goldilocks paradox where it's 'just right' ?

It says that there are no issues in my area but I honestly didn't expect it to.

Low signal constantly and intermittent reception. Calls drop out for no reason and data fluctuations are becoming more frequent.

Hey there @Steve Oswick, sorry to hear that. When having issues, are you connected to 4G or 5G please?

Also, what phone do you have please?

Thanks,

Tyler

It's automatically set to connect to 4 or 5g.

I've tried setting to just one or the other but makes no difference.

I have a Google pixel 8 pro.

Thank you.

4G would be recommended as 5G is very patchy within the area.

Have you completed a manual network reset on the handset since the issues started?

As I stated in my last reply, I've tried setting my phone to 4g and 5g and the issues are the same regardless of being automatic or set to one or the other.

Internet connection drops in and out regularly.

I have no access to WiFi so it gets very frustrating when I'm trying to sort banking and online purchases and using my phone as a hotspot.
