Hi How do I turn off safe search it hasn't been on for 7 months yet it now is and says someone else is controlling it. I've been in the id app and adult content blocker is switched off yet safe search is still on.

Okay, it may be worth speaking to your device manufacturer for further support on this.

We wouldn’t suddenly turn it on after it’s already been off, we’d only change it should you request the change, we’d recommend checking your device or browser settings.

I did all that and it was still on. And when I went to turn my phone off thinking it might reset it I couldn't turn my phone off as it kept saying my assistant needed an update. I got 2 options update now or not now if I clicked not now it went bk to my home screen and if I tried to turn my phone off again it gave me the same 2 options so I clicked start now and then it say on a downloading page doing nothing for an hour just saying updating but no bar was moving or percentage of download going up. Eventually my battery died and when I re started the phone safe search was off and it wasn't asking for an update for my assistant either
