Samsung A34 will not phone when not connected to Wifi

My Samsung A34 will not call numbers when not conneted to WiFi.  All i get is a message saying ' No Network'  I took my phone to Currys and they sent it to be repaired.  I picked up phone.....not repaired....the form said the phone is Blocked by the network.  Please UNBLOCK IMMEDIATELY

    Where did you get the phone from?

    We do not lock handsets to our network. 

    Can you please confirm if you have used another providers SIM in the handset at all?
