service wont allow this call


Hi, I was mid conversation on the phone and my phone has just cut off. I’ve tried to call numerous numbers after and all come up 

your service does not allow access to this number - unsure what this means. I’ve turned the phone on & off and still doesn’t help.

This won’t help you but I had almost the same at 13:58 today during a call. I was on hold when there was a click sound, then for around 30 seconds I heard a beeping sound (almost like an old car alarm beeping). The call counter was still increasing and then it dropped the call itself. However I was able to redial.

 

But if you log into your account are your bill payments up to date?

 

The other suggestion would be to contact iD so they can check this out for you

Thank you- first thing I checked was to make sure they took this months and it was last week. I’ll try and call them now thanks for your help

Okay so that’s one less thing to consider.

 

You can’t actually call them, they’re online only 🤐 So FB, X or Live Chat.

Hi both

 

Mine has been doing the same since about 4pm today, called a mobile and it cut off after 13mins and 1 second so then I tried the landline number and got the above no access to this number so something. Well that's when I first noticed. My bills are upto date well one coming out next week but all upto date. I've tried the live chat but the automated questions keep putting in circles and not helping at all. 

 

New to ID too will someone be able to get in touch or ?

Hmm, so is there more to this. Granted its only three of us but the timing is interesting.

(My call got to 20mins then around 30seconds of beeping - total call time 20m 36s)

 

You either need to give them a shout out on FB or X as they tend to respond quicker than on here.

For live chat (my link gives their contact methods) start the chat with talk to person as it bypass’s their automated chat bot.

Im in a queue to speak to someone on live chat. Hope I'm not going to get fobbed off. 

Ive tried messaging on Instagram but not heard back

It should show an estimated answer time. I would expect if others are contacting them about the same issue it would be being flagged on their systems,

 

The other thing is, the numbers you’re both calling (please DON’T post these up) are they saved contacts and if so what happens if you remove the first 0 and change it to +44. I’m dealing with an odd saved contact/missed call problem separately when some saved contacts show a number in the 447 format (it doesn’t have the plus (+)) and calling it back gives a differently worded error message to yours.

I have exactly the same thing it started yesterday and I can not make any calls out or send texts.

I have completed all troubleshooting in the guidance around when 3g is switched off. 

I have had a live chat this morning and they suggest the same as the trouble shooting but this hasn’t worked. They suggested it maybe my SIM card but clearly not if others are experiencing the same.
