SIM Hijacked – No Service, Accounts Hacked – URGENT Help Needed

I’m honestly really disappointed and frustrated right now. I think my SIM has been hijacked and I urgently need help. My phone suddenly lost service — no calls, no texts, nothing. I’ve tried restarting, checking coverage, switching phones — nothing works… until I put someone else’s SIM in, and it’s totally fine. So it’s clearly not my phone — it’s the SIM/number.

 

Since this happened, I’ve been locked out of my Google account, and I just found out that my PayPal has been hacked. There are now attempts to access my bank and I’m pretty sure whoever did this used my phone number for 2FA codes!!

 

I didn’t get any alert, no notification, nothing. If someone was able to swap or transfer my number without my permission, that’s a serious security issue on your end. I need to know if a SIM swap or porting request was made, and if so, how that got approved. I want my number secured ASAP or reissued to me, and I want a PIN/password put on my account so this never happens again.

 

This has caused real damage. I’d appreciate an urgent reply or for someone from the team to escalate this.

Sounds like someone may have accessed your iD Mobile account and initiated a SIM replacement. Do you still have access to your iD Mobile online account?

Best to call 7777 from your iD phone or 0333 003 7777(charges may apply) and select the lost or stolen option and request they block all access until you figure out what is going on.

Sounds like someone may have accessed your iD Mobile account and initiated a SIM replacement. Do you still have access to your iD Mobile online account?

Best to call 7777 from your iD phone or 0333 003 7777(charges may apply) and select the lost or stolen option and request they block all access until you figure out what is going on.
