sim not working. calling, recieving

Hi today my sim stopped working. 

It's the same phone, nothing has changed. 

I have 4g, the phone shows signal. Yet I try to make calls and it simply just sits there, no tone on daily. If someone calls me it's not ringing. Cuts off.

@ddvgeneral - most likely due to the recent 3G Switch Off. Here’s steps to fix.

    Thanks, yes found that out too late. No comms nothing. So ported away from ID mobile and said goodbye. Went back to giff gaff.
