I have recently moved to ID mobile when upgrading my phone, I have an I phone and I have used the pac code to transfer my old number however since doing this sms messages are showing as failed to send and the texts are sending from the ID mobile number and not the transferred number. I can call and receive calls fine just text messages. I have tried changing settings but it hasn’t made a difference can anyone help please?

Hey there @Mel95, welcome to Community!

Please try the following:

1) Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2) Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3) Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.
4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5) Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6) Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under "Start new conversations from:"

If you are having issues with step 4 please reset network settings and try again.

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Thanks,

Tyler

Have you tried a NETWORK RESET on the handset with your iD SIM, @Mel95

The device user guide should explain this reset procedure.

Took over a month to port my number in. Nobody knew why. Promised compensation but as usual they ignore you until you give up.

iD is not worth the paper it's printed on
