Socceraid text 70818 won't send

Trying to send a text to 70818 for Socceraid, but keep getting error 28 message. I have checked my message centre number is correct. I have premium texts enabled and I have sufficient cap on my account.

We've checked on this as advised and unfortunately, it appears that it's not possible for us to deliver your text in order to donate this way.
Sorry for any inconvenience but an alternative method to donate will need to be used.

Hi Phil,

I haven't been able to donate yet, but I haven'y really looked at alternatives ways of doing that yet.

I've had this problem a couple of times before, where I've tried to donate to a well known cause and I get the same error message.

I've definitely got sufficient cap. In fact I increased it to make sure that I could make the donation and leave a bit spare. I haven't tried donating different amounts.

Sorry to hear this. Have you been able to donate in any other way?

We'll check if the service is active with us, have you allowed sufficient amount in the cap to cover the donation and a charge for the text?
