I am still being charged for a cancelled contract.
I have been in touch with customer service numerous times about this and on my most recent conversation I was told that someone would be in touch but that haven’t.
I placed the order through Carphone Warehouse but selected the incorrect package and immediately started the cancellation procedure. The phone and sim have been returned unused and confirmation had been received both from Carphone warehouse and ID. Carphone warehouse have said they have cancelled the contract and to contact ID which I have done. ID have said to contact Carphone Warehouse which I have done.
I have been back and forth with both companies and all that is happening is I keep getting confirmation that my contract has been cancelled but I am still being charged! I have cancelled the direct debit however I have received an email today threatening the use of a debt collection agency if the balance isn’t paid for a phone and contract I don’t even have!
I didn’t even turn the phone on or put the SIM card in the phone yet I have been charged twice with no refund for the contract.
I have tried to use customer service however there had been no resolution. Can anyone help or have had similar issues with a solution?
