Still Getting Unwanted iD Mobile Emails Despite Changing Communication Preferences

I have recently joined iD Mobile and I'm very pleased with the SIM deal that I got and the coverage. My partner recommended you.

One issue is, despite unticking all of the communication preferences apart from SMS, I still get sent pointless emails from iD. In the beginning I just assumed these were one off welcome type messages but they keep repeating. My partner gets none of these. Since I'm on a fixed price contract, after initial setup, I'd expect no more emails.

During the same period I've received no SMS messages, which is ironic.

Do these emails stop in time, if not how do I stop them apart from marking them as spam so they are auto deleted?

Hi there @Tony Cooper, we’re sorry to hear that. 

 

If you’ve recently joined us, I do know that a lot more emails will tend to be sent for new customers to help guide them through the switching process and key features on our network.

 

I do believe that after the first two weeks or so, these emails will be limited and a lot less sent.
