STOP texts failing

I'm getting loads of marketing texts which are super annoying. Whenever I text STOP to the number they give (usually a 5 digits number like 6006) they always fail. What can I do?

Hello @Stonewash Blue,

These type's of numbers are considered premium numbers.

You'll need to enable Premium Messaging in the iD app/account.

You'll also need to ensure that your spend cap has some allowance available for this message to send. Most premium texts carry a charge to send. If your cap is set at £0.00, the message would not be allowed to go through.

Can you try enabling this & raising your spend cap to allow the message to send and try again?

Hi @Stonewash Blue

The best way will be to Google the number that is sending you these messages to see if there is a way to stop them. You can also use this link https://psauthority.org.uk/for-consumers/service-checker to check the service or make a complaint if the they won't stop sending them after you requested it.

Kind Regards
