Strap's elusive phone


Took out an upgrade on my contract but DPD failed to deliver my phone on 2 attempts it then got returned to the supplier. I have discovered myself the phone was returned to Curry's they have now cancelled there side of the contract  ID mobile live chat agents are unable to locate my phone despite them supposedly sending numerous emails to the supplier. They keep promising to contact me back but never do so I have to contact live chat and repeat the whole story which gets longer every time. 1 month on I still have no phone which I am paying for and no response from ID. Can anyone help with how I can resolve this please. All I want is my phone.

Hi @Cookstrap 

 

If the upgrade has been returned to us and the plan cancelled on our side then it’s already gone.

 

You’ll need to place another order if you wish for it to arrive.

As I said ID could not locate my phone and got no reply from the warehouse so they couldn't cancel my contract. I had contacted Curry's and found where the phone was but this was not acceptable to ID they needed an email from the warehouse. As it stands I now have a new contract, after raising a complaint with ID they finally acknowledged after 5 weeks the phone had been returned.

I wouldn't say that they had been useful. I had had many chats with the online agents who were able to achieve nothing and it wasnt until I'd rung complaints for the 3rd time that a complaint was raised it took them a couple of weeks to confirm something I had found out myself a month earlier. They also all promised each time to call me back with an update and never did. Your customer support doesn't work very well for the problem I had. 0 out of 10 from me
