Is anyone having this problem with calls in Doncaster?  Won’t do a lengthy post but my phone is on the ‘yes’ list and I have 4G but can’t call in or out.

@EM53 - Have you tried the steps in this article?

Thanks.

Deleting ‘old’ actually existing number and entering existing (not new) number again sorted it on my iPhone. Thanks to Anneline @ ID mobile. Still makes no sense to me but at least it’s sorted.

Glad that resolved things @EM53 - we’ve noticed that worked for a number of customers, so have included it in the guide above. Thanks.

This does not apply to Android. I have a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and a Redmi Note 8 Pro. The iD SIM card does not work on both phones. On both, however, the Three and Spusu SIM cards work. If Three is working on other phones but iD not, it is obviously something with your SIM card, as your service is based on Three network.

Same here.

Brand new 5G phone - Fairphone 4.

Suddenly no phone calls in or out.

Been through all the suggestions and nothing.

I'll be leaving iD as soon as I can.

Must be effecting loads of people.

As mentioned above as well, what guidance have you got for Android users? These steps only work for iPhone.

Apologies, quoted the wrong person!

Neither of these phones are on the iD Approved Handsets, so we cannot guarantee compatibility with our full range of services. However, if it’s working with a Three SIM, it might be worth getting a replacement SIM.

Thanks.

Doesn’t look like the Fairphone 4 is an iD Approved Handset, which might explain why it’s not working with VoLTE after the 3G Switch Off:

Thanks.

The other steps in this article are for Android and iPhone users. This optional step is specifically for iPhone. Thanks.

Thank you for the response. However the other steps also have not worked. What would you suggest?

To confirm you’ve tried all the steps, including a Network Settings Reset @mcto? Which Make and Model are you using? Thanks.

Same thing happened to me, starting about 10 days ago throughout TR10/TR11 (Penryn/Falmouth), using a Samsung A20e and exactly the same in a slightly older Samsung phone. SIM stills works fine in my partner’s iphone. Have done all the troubleshooting tests suggested by idmobile  myself and also had the very helpful guy in a local mobile phone shop do them too. The only extra information he could provide was that he’d had quite a few people come in with the same problem, all on idmobile, over the last couple of weeks. Strangely, just before I went to the shop, everything returned to normal for about 10 mins before reverting to the previous situation. I have just noticed on the THREE network coverage checker under the 3G tab that a local 3G tower was due to be turned off on Sep 18, which is about when this problem started for me. However, THREE boast that the 4G network coverage for virtually the whole area in which I have experienced the problem is EXCELLENT, so one would hope that a reduction/removal of 3G coverage would have no effect, unless there’s something strange about the way idmobile uses their network.

This has been happening to my iPhone. Tried everything to no avail.

BUT I then went to setting > phone > my number and discovered it was blank.

I input my phone number and it now works.

@pilotbear - Sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing issues, are they still ongoing? If so, let me know and I’ll be happy to help. Thanks.

@Matthew T  - yes the issue is still ongoing. I have tested my phone several times a day for the last 10 days in various different places in the Penryn/Falmouth area, both indoors and outdoors. Apart from the one 10 minute period I mentioned in previous post, during which I successfully made 2 and received 1 call, all attempts at making or receiving calls have failed.

In that case @pilotbear - We updated the guide with some new Troubleshooting steps on the 27th September, did you follow these as well?

If you have, and still experiencing issues, I’ll raise a ticket with our Secondline team. Thanks.

@Matthew T Had done almost all the things in the article twice before, to no effect.

For completeness, this is what I experienced today (numbering as in current version of the article)

(2) Setting is 4G/3G/2G (auto-connect)  - since not a 5G phone

(3) Slider 4G calling Three is ON, as is WiFi calling in the Phone Settings menu. I have no problem with internet access, either through WiFi or mobile data or with texts.

(7) Manual roam wouldn’t let me connect to any other provider - but I guess that’s what you’d expect

(9) This one I hadn’t done before. After dialling the shortcode, I got the message “MMI code started” but then couldn’t do anything useful with the phone until I had rebooted it. After that, when trying to make a call, for the first half a dozen attempts, I got the message “Not registered on the network” and the scrolling “Emergency calls only” message at the top left of the screen. I have seen the same behaviour a few times during the last 10 days but normally it just occurred once, then was not there on the next attempt.

(10) Since it is a dual sim phone, I double-checked that the SIM is in slot 1
