I have a SIM only deal with ID for my Samsung A51 phone, I am buying a new Samsung S23 phone. Can I just transfer the Sim card over and keep my phone number and the deal?

However, if your new deal is also with iD Mobile you’ll have two iD contracts. You can’t transfer a mobile number from one iD contract to another iD contract.

You can put your SIM in any Android phone that it fits and is compatible with. The number stays with the SIM unless you are changing the plan.
If you have any doubt then try it out in the new phone before buying it or try your SIM in a friends just to make sure before you buy.
Just take care not to damage the SIM.

I am buying the new phone from Samsung and just want to be able to transfer the SIM card - so it sounds as if I will be able to do that and keep my ID mobile contract and mobile number.
