Hi

i switched to IDmobile earlier this week, had a txt message & email yesterday to say it had happened but I have no signal or 4/5g, old provider has switched me off so I haven’t got a workable phone & need one asap. Phone is iPhone 14. Tried the live chat but keeps saying it can’t help and to wait. What am I supposed to do? I really need my phone working

    Hi @MeBH.

Thank you for your post. I am sorry to hear you’re having trouble getting your service working. I completely understand how important it is to have your phone up and running, especially after switching over.

As your old network has already disconnected service, your SIM should now be active on our network, so let’s try a quick network refresh to get things working properly.

    For iPhone 14:

    Go to Settings
    Tap Phone
Tap My Number and remove the old number
Enter your new number and tap Save
Go back to Settings → Messages
    Turn iMessage OFF
Go to General → Transfer or Reset iPhone
Tap Reset → Reset Network Settings
Once restarted, go back to Settings → Messages and turn iMessage ON again

This will help your phone recognise and properly register the new SIM.

If you’re still having issues after this, let us know and we’ll take a closer look for you.

    Thanks,

    Hi @Emilykeegan,

I am so sorry to hear of this, a network reset may do the job, here’s how to do it:

    iPhone

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap General.
    3. Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.
    4. Tap Reset.
    5. Select Reset Network Settings.
    6. Enter your device passcode if prompted and confirm.

Your iPhone will restart. You'll need to reconnect to any saved Wi-Fi networks afterwards.

Android (steps may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer)

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap General Management or System.
    3. Tap Reset or Reset Options.
    4. Select Reset Network Settings.
    5. Confirm the reset.

Once the reset is complete, restart your phone and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network if needed.

    Regards,
