I have kept an old account that my dad used to own. I would like to switch the owner of the account to myself but there doesn’t appear to be a way to do this.
I thought I could buy a new plan, but I also want to keep my number which apparently isn’t possible.
So would it be possible for to change the registered details on the account I current have?
We can’t perform a change of ownership unfortunately. You’d need to get your dad to request a PAC code for the number, and then port that away from the iD Mobile network. Once the number is with another network supplier, you can request a PAC from them and port the number into a contract with us that you’ve taken out in your own name.
So you’d have a new agreement with us, but with the number that used to belong to you Dad.

Hope this helps.
