switching from giffgaff to ID mobile

I have been trying to switch from giffgaff to ID mobile. I have the PAC number and when I enter all the information needed to switch, I keep getting the message 'something went wrong'

Is there anything else I can try as I really need to keep my old number!

Any help is appreciated!

Probably best to resolve this issue by using the iD online Live Chat service, to speak to a customer adviser ​@BeckieC  

The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends - just tell the 24/7 chatbot you’d like to “talk to a person”.

Use the live chat link in the above post but they are closed now and reopen tomorrow.
