switching to ID from another provider

I ordered a phone on Sunday knowing it would not arrive till Tuesday, I arranged for my number to be transferred from my old provider on the Wednesday, but ID switched my number on Tuesday morning with no new phone and no email to say when it was arriving, this left me with no working phone and no idea when it was being delivered, I contacted live chat who could only apologize but do nothing to correct there mistake, I told the live chat that I should have just asked my dog as no answer or action was available, is there a number for ID for a issue rather than live chat, Linda

Unfortunately @Linda 72 there is no contact phone number for iD Mobile customer service as that is how they keep their costs down. The Live Chat is the ony means of communication with an advisor.

Do you know anyone with a spare phone that you could borrow until your new one arrives?
If not, then, as much as it is a terrible situation, you will have to wait until you get the one you ordered.

The only option, to move this along, is to badger the Live Chat every day to confirm a delivery date (type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box to stop having to go through the inane questions of the chat bot).

Sorry that I don’t have more positive information for you x

Thanks Decembersangel72 for the advice, I know keeping costs down is a good idea but the only contact we have as customers is a chat service that cannot do anything is proving there is a line and they have went to far, x

Hey there @Linda 72, thank you for reaching out and sorry to hear about your delivery.

Have you received a tracking number thus far?

If you need to contact an advisor, we are indeed contactable via our live-chat, Facebook and Twitter pages, with agents always happy to help, as well as here. We also have our complaints and vulnerable customers phone-lines.

Thanks,

Tyler
