My switchover from O2 to ID Mobile was supposed to have taken place on Monday (2 days ago) but as yet it hasn’t happened. I contacted ID Mobile using Live Chat on Monday afternoon and was told that the switchover would happen by 6pm on Monday. I also mentioned that I hadn’t received the eSim that I had requested. I was told that a physical sim would be posted to me and that I could request an eSim via the app.
I have tried to add my number to the app, using my number, my surname and date of birth but I receive a message saying my details do not match ID Mobiles records.
I spent around three hours yesterday and well over five hours today trying to get through to someone on Live Chat but all I get is the following message “I’m sorry. I’m not available to chat at this time. Please try again later and I will be glad to help you.”
Any ideas? I just want someone to speak to me, sort out the switchover, arrange an eSim or sort out access to the app so that I can request an eSim.
