Texting is not using my ported number?

I transferred my old number - ID mobile confirmed this has taken place - however when texting - it shows the SIM number, not mine?

I've seen a previous post on here with similar issues - the fix was for an iPhone though.

 

I have a Google pixel 8a ..   can anyone help?

(Tried looking at all settings)
