Texts to a foreign mobile

I replied to a text from a French mobile number that was being used in the UK, yet I am being charged for the text. Why?

It’s classified as an international text, because it was sent to a French mobile number.
It’s the mobile number, not location that determined cost in this case.

Cab foreign texts and calls be added to a plan?

If you are pay-monthly @hopwoodgl, just TURN ON “International” in your iD account online, and set your bill cap to a value that allows you to make international calls, and send international text messages.

If you are using PAYG, just add credit to your account.
