That's a question i keep asking myself, i believe if you currently own something older than the s9 or even s8 then it'll probably be worth the upgrade.
As i currently own the s9, i don't think i could justify the cost.
Other than it's visual appeal, which i love btw. There's never really enough difference to justify an upgrade if you own the last generation phone.
As for if the phones are worth the selling price, i'd say you'd be hard pressed to find anything selling at it's worth. They'll always be pushing the limits and so long as we continue to buy them, they'll keep pushing.
Though Samsung will likely continue to try undercut Apple by £100 as that seems to be the trend for now.
