I previously had an iD Mobile contract under my mum’s account, but now I want to have my own. I’ve purchased another iD Mobile SIM, but I’m unsure how to transfer my number from my mum’s account to mine. How can I go about doing this?

Hi there
Being as iD currently don’t have the ability to move your number between iD accounts what you need to do is triangle port - request a PAC for your number (on your mums account) and move it to another provider (a free PAYG will do). Leave it there for 24 hours after the number has gone live and ask your new provider for a PAC. Use this PAC and move your number back to your new account.
edit. Also avoid submitting a PAC to iD on a Friday as they don’t port numbers on a weekend (or things like a bank holiday).
