transferring number using a PAC code whilst roaming

I’d like to my number from my old plan to my new ID plan whilst I am out of the country.

i have my PAC code, will the transfer work whilst I am abroad and on roaming or do I need to be back in the UK for the number to successfully transfer?

    That's fine ​@aclark , I just wanted to check it wasn’t iD to iD, as that wouldn’t work.

    You should be able to, but it may be best to wait till you’re back, in case there are any issues. Are you out of the country for a while?

    Thanks, how long will this take as in the next month I’ll only be in the country for a few hours
