UID Missing or Incorrect - Apple music

I can't redeem an offer sent to me via email. The offer was for Apple Music and Apple Arcade free for up to 3 months and when clicking the Redeem button it errors out saying “UID Missing or Incorrect”. Is there a way to fix this issue?

I seem to be having the same problem. “UID Missing or incorrect.”
