Question

Unable to make or receive calls at home

When at home, my mobile phone signal is poor (3 or 2G) so I have WiFi calling switched on.

If the phone switches to WiFi all is well but if it thinks the signal is strong enough, no calls can get in or out.

My solution is to go into airplane mode which forces it onto WiFi. Having to do that everytime I come in and go out is not ideal. It used to work fine and I have not changed the phone (Samsung A35 5G)

I have set the phone to reboot every morning.

Any suggestions?

It seems I don’t have the options they are mentioning. However, I’ve found a “Turn WiFi on/off automatically” option which I’ve now turned on. It seems to push the phone towards WiFi calling. I’ll see how it goes. Many thanks.

@Siân I’m afraid it’s still playing up.

My phone was connected to my WiFi. My daughter called and she listened to ring tone. She tried a few times and it didn’t go to Voicemail either. I can call out though.

That suggests to me that there’s a problem with the system rather my phone or WiFi settings?
