Do you have VoLTE (Voice over LTE) turned on?

You need to have this turned on to be able to connect to the LTE (4G) network (ALL networks not just iD).

I have a Samsung Galaxy J4+, and as ​@Tom has stated, there is no number stated in my ‘About Phone’ and I can connect to the iD network but I also have VoLTE enabled and my handset is on the approved list.

I did attempt to make a reply before yours and got the something went wrong when trying to upload 2 screenshots with some text. Great forums…..

Anyway I baffled. My phone does show my number in the about phone, though due to 7+ days of calls dropping, phones freezing (yes 2 different phones both on iD) but when the signal drops off my then number goes to unknown. I’ve got one more trick up my sleeve but I’m about done with all this malarkey.

This one is what I see as soon as the calls drop every single time

And this one is what I always had until 7 days ago when the very often and very random call dropping got worse

So just to clarify for Alan, in case my previous post gets lost in the abyss (it may as well I’m past caring), mine normally always shows my phone number in the +447 format and only goes to unknown when the signal drops off and thus drops the call. Sadly SWMBO has had enough and its looking very much like she’ll be leaving iD and as she’s the boss I’ll probably go with her. But as ​@Decembersangel72 has pointed out your phone doesn’t meet the requirements for use with iD. However some other customers find theirs works even though its not on the list. I don’t know why though.
