Unable to receive banking OTP on my esim ID mobile after porting

Hey ​@Tyler C i  raised complaint and had a conversation over chat and it's been more than 7 days off from my banking and trading sites due to the OTPs not being delivered after switch to ID mobile

Good luck mate,  they can’t even port in my number and I’m going on to my second week mark since switching.

Terrible and pathetic service .I will see if i can reach out ombudsmen if they are unable to get this resolved in next 24 hrs

I am so frustrated with them also, but don’t stress too much be hopeful and make sure you get your ombudsman case filled out with all your supporting information ready to file just in the case they actually don’t resolve your issue and get the compensation and conclusion you deserve with ombudsman. Sorry about this mate I’m in the same situation.

Anyone can please help me on this issue please ?

I had a problem when porting to a new SIM on an Android phone. I don't know if this will help.

 

When the numbers were ported the phone received texts and phone calls as normal, however when sending a text the recipients text saw it was from the number allocated originally to the SIM card and not from the ported number.

 

What happens when you send a text message from your new ported number?

 

On Android text app open it click on your personal icon (top right hand corner right side of the search icon)

>> Go to message settings

>> Go to "Advanced"

>> Check your number there

From what I recall the SMSC number was the original number allocated to the SIM Card prior to porting my number.

I don't know if this will help, but hope it does. Have had iD for several years but not in the technical business or telecom business.
