Why does an unknown number that I don't know and has never called me before show up as a missed call from my wife?

    Hi @Nick888,

This can sometimes happen if your phone hasn’t correctly updated the caller ID details stored in your contacts or network profile, which can cause numbers to display incorrectly.

It may also be that your wife’s number needs updating on her device settings or network profile.

    Please try the following:

    On iPhone:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap Phone
    • Check My Number and make sure it shows the correct number
    • Restart the phone afterwards

On Android (may vary by device):

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap About Phone
    • Tap SIM Status or Phone Identity
    • Check the phone number is correct and update if needed
    • Restart the device

We’d also recommend doing a network reset on both devices:

    • iPhone: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    • Android: Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings

After this, restart both phones and test again.

If the issue continues, please let us know and we can look into it further for you.

    Regards,
