I want to give my mum my old iPhone 5s, as her dog chewed her phone. I put her sim in and the sim not recognising it. I rang her provider and they told me the phone needs unlocking, how do I do this please?

I want to unlock my phone but Id making it impossible. Chat box just says that I will need to unlock phone, no humans will answer the telephone and there is nothing in my account. Upgrading and paying money is shears easy for them!
