upgrade

I am now due an upgrade but have decided I want to go "SIM only", i want to stay with iD and buy sim (from uSwitch) to replace current contract how do I do it without requiring a new SIM and just keeping current sim and just transfer over and at same time cancel my current contract and switch seamlessly without disruption to connection and getting double payments (current DD to new DD)?

What I have told you above is correct. Unfortunately new customers sometimes get better deals than existing customers. This is to entice new customers. This is standard industry practice.

You could call the sales team on 02071391397 between 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, and see if they will match the uswitch deal but failing that you would need to port out to another network and back again to keep the same iD number.

You can’t just buy a new iD contract and transfer your existing number to it. You would have to get a PAC code and transfer your number to another network PAYG SIM and then once transferred get another PAC code and transfer back to iD.

You may want to consider a plan change instead

Perhaps I didn't make it clear, I am currently with iD, I want to "upgrade" to SIM only but the offer I have seen isn't on the "upgrade" section and was an iD SIM only through uSwitch. Makes no sense to use a PAC code if staying with same provider. The plan changes are not worth it. Is there a number I can call to ask about this?

Hey there @Danwk2011, as kindly advise by @MZone, if you wish to keep your number, you will need to purchase an upgrade with us, not a new customer contract.

Or, please call our sales team on the number sent above by @MZone within opening hours and see if they can offer any other deals.

Thanks,

Tyler
