Upgrade options

I can’t go to an online account as my email was earlier registered to my wife.  I’ve been notified that I can upgrade as my contract ended in October 2023 and I’m interested in a new plan and hopefully a new handset.  How can I do this?

Hi @IreneMks,

Unfortunately the same email address can’t be added if it’s being used for a different account.

You can try add your plan to the existing account and see if that works.

I’ll contact the sales team.

My email address which is shared with my wife was taken by her prior to my joining iD Mobile.  As a result I’ve never been able to download the app or set up an email account.

You should be able to register with a different email address if already taken.

Thanks for the reply but all my contacts over the last 30 years or so use the email address which has already been taken.  I’d only ever use a new address to create an iD account and would never use it otherwise.  I wouldn’t receive any communications from iD and so there’d be no point having the new address.

Thank you Kash.  I enquired about adding to the existing account and was told ‘No’.  Following the expiry of my term plan both myself and my wife are now on pay monthly plans as I understand it.  I cannot see why we couldn’t be merged into a single new account which would solve the problem.

Anyway I’m grateful for your continued interest even though the issue remains unresolved.
