[Urgent] Can I cancel my plan for a month and restart it next month?

Hello,

I will be roaming outside of the EU for 6 weeks and I don't need my ID Mobile sim-only monthly plan for a month. Is it possible to cancel it for a month and then start the same plan again next month?

I tried using Live Chat but the button won't show up after a few hours of waiting.

My next month starts tomorrow, July 23rd, and I don't want it to start so this is fairly urgent.
Many thanks.

Hi @Tempo

We don't offer pause contracts, the best option would be to cancel and take out a new one when you return. Also, sim only requires 30 days notice. 😪

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it as you would need to give the 30 day notice.

Hope that helps, let me know if you need anything. 😁

Hi @Tempo,

Additionally to @PavD's advice, you could switch to a lower priced tariff whilst you're away to save a little bit of money and then once you're back, switch to a higher priced plan to suit your needs?

Just a thought as that would be easier than having to leave and sign back up again. :)
