I have a friend moving too the UK from the US for a few months, she owns a Note 10 plus with the model number SMN975UZKAXAA which is unlocked, and is wondering if she would be able too use a Sim only deal on the ID network in the UK without issue.

Hey @Trevlev

iD Mobile is using LTE provided by Three Network and they are on Band 3 and Band 20 frequencies. Model SM-N975U that your friend is using is supporting them both which means that although was purchased in US it has global connectivity, including UK.

Here is full specification of the phone where you can check frequencies for yourself. Here you can find interesting article regarding 4G connectivity in UK as well as all about frequencies and bands.

Kind Regards

Hello there.

The phone should work fine with UK SIM cards, that's no issue.

Though you would need to have lived at a UK address for 2-3 years before you would be allowed to get a Pay Monthly plan. Though Pay as You Go options would be fine.
