using another phone with my id mobile sim

Can I use my id mobile SIM card in another SIM free phone, my phone is not insured and was wondering if my contract phone was to break or even lost could I use my SIM card in any phone that is unlocked, also I was thinking of selling my phone and get another one and use my SIM card in it, am I allowed to do that as I will still be paying my monthly bill anyway, as my phone I have got plays up sometimes

Thank you for reaching out. Please note that you are able to use iD Mobile SIM in a handset that is unlocked however it needs to be compatible with our SIMs.
