Using Unlimited SIM in broadband router

Hello,

I’m thinking of getting a 2 year contact 5G unlimited phone data SIM and inserting it into a 5G home broadband router, such as the ZTE MC888 ULTRA or Deco X50-5G. Would this:

1) technologically be possible?

2) be allowed under the terms and conditions?

3) create any problems that I should be aware of, such as speed throttling or data capping?

I have a strong 5G signal where I live, so signal strength isn’t an issue.

Many thanks.

Okay @DJade, unfortunately no UK mobile network offers truly unlimited mobile data - the terms & conditions have caveats about what happens when a customer gets categorised as an excessive user, etcetera.

At iD Mobile they only provide support for SIM cards when used in a mobile phone - iD don’t support use of their SIM products in other devices.

The iD network partner (Three UK) use something called TrafficSense to manage their mobile network - read about it here.
