Hello, I cannot access my voicemails. I get numerous messages telling me I have a new voicemail but when I ring the number I am told there are no new voicemails. How do I get round this? Also I cannot send messages other ‎than in WhatsApp or Messenger, although I do receive them. Sue

We are very sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your voicemail and messages. 

Can you please check that your number is showing as correct in the handset? This would need to begin with +44 and not 0. 

 

If you are unsure on how to check this, please let us know the make/model of your handset.

Hello Nat

I’ve literally just noticed that the number on my phone/in the screenshot above isn’t actually my phone Number!!

I don’t recognise that number

No problem at all. 

You should be able to edit this on the handset. 

Please ensure you add +44 and not 0. This should resolve the issue.

hi Nat, as you can see the issue is not resolved, how do I proceed? I have no idea what being unavailable for sign in actually signifies  

I really wish I’d stuck with O2, at least I could speak to somebody 😖

Is the number active on an old Apple handset?

Have you checked that the number is up to date in messages, phone and iMessage/Facetime?

Apple can assist further to deactivate a number from an old handset.
