voicemail notification


Since I’ve switched to ID mobile  I have a voicemail notification (red dot on corner of phone app icon)  but I don’t have any voicemails.

i can’t get rid of it.

 When I check my voicemail it says I don’t have any.

help please

Hi 

I have an iPhone 13 

I have reset the phone 3 times, turned my voicemail on and off three times and definitely do not have any voicemails to be listened to

Hey there ​@Elisher & ​@Neillappin, sorry to hear this.

 

Please try the following:

 

  • Go to Settings > Notifications> Phone> then turn OFF Badge App button. The red dot should disappear from the phone icon.
  •  Call yourself from another phone and leave a message > Call voicemail and delete your message.
  • Go back to Settings > Notifications> Phone> then turn ON Badge App button.

Hey there ​@Elisher, sorry to hear that. Have you tried disabling voicemail via the iD Mobile app/website, and then re-enabling it?

Hi, I’ve just tried this and still have the red dot showing. When I compare to my sons iPhone which is also on ID mobile , I have a blue dot next to the ‘Network provider Voicemail’ on the voicemail page, which he doesn’t have maybe it’s related to the problem?

What happens when you press call?

Do you have any voicemails on your number that haven’t been checked?

When I press call it takes me to my voicemail & voicemail settings  but it says there are no messages.
