voicemail notification


Hi, 

I recently bought a phone from ID (Google pixel).  I ported my number.  Since my phone number has ported I have lost the voicemail icon.  I have set up the voicemail by ringing 1 from the phone.  However I can't select visual voicemail on my settings.  It is reading as the temporary number when I bought the phone.  I have tried changing it to my number but it won't allow me to.

Try performing a Network Settings Reset on your phone:

  1. Open ‘Settings’.
  2. Tap ‘System’.
  3. Tap ‘Advanced’.
  4. Tap ‘Reset options’.
  5. Select ‘Reset Network Settings’.

To confirm, is your number showing correctly in your phone’s settings?

 

Is voicemail enabled via the iD Mobile app/website?

 

Is the issue with visual voicemail, or normal voicemail or both?

Hi,

When I check in settings under SIM the correct number is showing.  

 

I can't see how to enable voicemail via the app/website.

When people ring my phone they can leave a voicemail - it's set up with my personal message but when I ring to check to messages there are none!  I have no where on the phone to check for voicemails I have to dial on to check.

No as this is a new phone and new contract.  I managed to find under iD IN settings that I had 2 numbers registered so deleted the temporary one and it seems to be working now.
