Voicemail notification won't clear

I ported my number across from previous provider, and the voicemail icon will not clear from the notification bar. I check for messages and I’m told there are none. I’ve cleared the app data in the settings and it clears temporarily, but always comes back. I’ve tried using the online support options as well, but they have not provided a solution.

Hi @bodarville,

Have you tried removing the SIM card and powering down the handset for 10 minutes?

Also, if you place the SIM card in another handset, does the icon display there?
