Can someone advise how to transfer WhatsApp chat data from a iPhone to Android please?
Standard back up and restore WhatsApp functions don't seem to restore all photos and chats that I had on my iPhone

Spoke to a guy in carphone warehouse just now and he advised a transfer between data on a iPhone WhatsApp to WhatsApp on android isn't possible, the only solution is to download WhatsApp photos to old phone and do a transfer to new phone. All chat messages will unfortunately be lost

Which Android phone are you using. Each brand has its own transfer data tool
Samsung has Smart Switch
Sony has Transfer Mobile
Huawei has Phone Clone
Thats the most popular one. They all allow you to transfer all data from any phone including WhatsApp data.
You could try it and let us know if it helped 🙂

Hi Hikari, thanks for advice. I attempted to use phone clone on my huwaei but now it's saying hotspot is turned off which it wsnt before so I'm stuck again. Any advice on how I turn it on would be appreciated. Thanks
Never heard of such an error but try to go to Settings -> Network & Internet -> Hotspot and Tethering and turn it on manually there.
