When is this issue going to be resolved over not able to make or receive calls Leeds?

For over 4 hours I am unable to make or receive telephone calls Leeds.  Does any engineer know how long this is going to take to be resolved please?

I’m in same boat as you. Unfortunately both me and the hubby with ID, so we’re totally stuffed and we’re waiting for important calls on our house sale today. This is absolutely not acceptable to have no ability to make or receive calls for this long.

Click on ‘Service status’ at the top of this page and see what is affected and they know what the fault is (found at 6pm) and next update is at 8pm. Maybe use whatsapp if you need to call urgently??

I have checked the service checker and it states normal to make and receive calls.  However I am still unable to make or receive calls so I am rather stuck as to what to do?

It states that you are able to make mobile calls now but this is not the case.

Still says voice calls are down so not sure what you are reading?

I had to go round to my neighbour to call for breakdown assistance! I am really very unhappy with the rubbish service from ID and their inaccessibility.

ID just leave you hanging on/all this online update.  It is so bad with service providers.  How can people view updates if their internet is not working?  Anything for a peaceful life eh?🙄

Agreed, the inaccessibility is a one way street/poor service standards by lack of communication.

I work in IT. So we can’t update you minute by minute , plus, they aren’t going to say something like….took 30 mins to find the rack where the router was or needed to replace the router that was years old and should have probbly been replaced. Someone / some team are troubleshooting it while a comms person is giving them time to troubleshoot until they need to update. It is crap when things go down but imagine if your heating switched off. Think of everything you would do, all while your loved ones where asking...when is the heating coming back on. It would add to the stress of troubleshooting when the heating was coming back on.

eg :

See if there were any error lights?

Are all the radiators off?

Any hot water?

No lights on the boiler?

find a plumber?

Noone can come out until tomorrow, so what do you do?

 

This all takes time, which is crap but hopefully this helps to explain why they can’t magic a fix...much as everyone involved would like to.
