I have just received a new SIM card for my child’s first phone but it’s not working? Where do I find the phone number for it? How do I get the phone recognise there is a sim in it? Help…I’m so frustrated!!

Hi
I found out that the sim was faulty after doing a live chat. It has been replaced by id mobile through Currys and we have a very happy birthday girl at home! Just for your info the Samsung phone was not even registering that a sim had been installed however when I put my own sim in it worked fine.
