Maybe it’s in your Junk E-mail or Spam mailbox folder, @Ash Will Don? 

Otherwise, perhaps the email address given to iD was incorrect.

Confirmation emails are typically sent within 24 hours of ordering, if money has been taken it sounds like your order is confirmed, do you have anything yet?
