Why am i getting an error message when trying to buy Roam Beyond add-on?.

Tried to get add on of USA data from app and account but it says Whoops something when wrong. Try again later.

So you’ve turned roaming off (if it was on), connected to WiFi and then tried to purchase the Roam Beyond Add-on and the iD App gives the Oops message?

Have you also tried to clearing the apps cache (whilst connected to WiFi) and then having another go?

 

Or if the app still doesn’t allow you to purchase the Roam Beyond Add-on what about via your online account?

  1. Log-in to My Account Online.
  2. Tap ‘Rest of World’.
  3. Search for the destination you’d like to buy an add-on for.
  4. Tap an add-on which best matches your needs.
  5. If you’re happy with the add-on you’ve selected, tap ‘Confirm’.
  6. Tap ‘Done’. The add-on will be charged on your next billing cycle.

Sorry to hear this, are you sure the bank account/card you’re using has all the correct details and has sufficient funds?

 

Please ensure to stay on the iD Mobile app while the process is going on and avoid swapping between other things.

Thanks. Definitely enough funds and ID has not trouble taking monthly fee by direct debit. Stayed on app all the time. Husband has had the same issue on his phone with ID mobile. Luckily Wi-Fi has kept us going.

It’s strange it’d happen on two separate accounts, have you tried being on a different Wi-Fi network when trying this?

 

Are you able to try alternatively on the website as opposed to the app?
