Why cant I get 4G/internet coverage around certain areas?

I’ve recently switched to ID mobile and have had no real issues with it so far. But for some reason whenever I go into my local town, I cannot get any internet connection whatsoever even when it says I have three bars on 4G.

I look on the signal checker and it says it has full coverage in town, but I have absolutely nothing everytime I come here! But when I leave, it goes back to normal again and I can get internet/4G again. It’s not a massive issue and doesn’t bother me massively, but has anybody got any idea why it does this and how I could possibly fix it?

Perhaps there’s a Three UK network bandwidth capacity issue in your local town, @3eb_25

If the network capacity is limited, and lots of iD, SMARTY and Three customers are trying to use mobile data (Internet) in the same area, your experience won’t be great.

Otherwise, maybe there’s another network issue/fault in your local town.

Hello @3eb_25

Thanks for getting in touch.

Sorry to hear there are some issues with using the service in your local town.

Are you able to provide an example postcode so that we can take a look?

Thanks,

Nat
