Hi, last week or two my WIFI Calling has stopped.

I have seen a few responses on here but only really mentioned iPhone

I have a S24 Ultra, it has worked in the past on the same phone and from the same Wi-Fi network in my office.

I'm not getting the Wi-Fi calling logo at the top anymore and as i have no signal in the office so  i rely on this Wi-Fi calling.

I've made sure Wi-Fi calling setting is turned on, I've rebooted phone, airplane mode on a and off.

still nothing has worked,

post code is SA14 9LG if that make any difference.

is this a ID issue in my area?

Hello @AdamSizer

Thank you for getting in touch.

We are very sorry to hear you are experiencing issues when using WiFi calling.

Can you please confirm if the issue is only occurring when connecting to one WiFi in particular or every attempt?

Thanks,

Natalie

Regarding the iPhone devices, anyone using iOS 18.5 would have carrier settings 64.0, which Three UK updated to 64.1 for some reason.

Version 64.1 broke WiFi Calling on iPhone devices - you’ve got to wonder if Three have perhaps also released ‘new’ carrier settings for Android devices, @AdamSizer

Not sure how you check for carrier settings updates on Android, but if you know how, I’d suggest checking for an update - it might fix the issue.

The subsequent Three 64.2 carrier settings update fixed the WiFi Calling issue with iPhones.

Hi @AdamSizer did you resolve this issue in the end? I have an S24 with exactly the same issue - I can’t even force wifi using flight mode. wifi calling worked OK several months ago for me,  but is is definitely not working now.

To be honest I'm not too sure.

went though a lot of websites.

tried one which is reset wi-fi and Bluetooth settings.

note this delete all Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections so have to start from scratch.

i do seem to be able to make calls now in the basement office when have no signal. but the Wi-Fi calling symbol still doesn't appear.  so not sure if I'm on wi-fi calling or my phone has just picked up a very small signal.

most suggestions are go to settings and wi-fi calling, but for me its not there.

have to go to phone app, three dots - settings - scroll down and the turn on and off iwi-fi calling is there.

some videos show you can hold this down and it gives more options, mine wont do that

i wish i could help more

Hi @AdamSizer thanks for the reply. It’s tricky to establish whether it’s a device issue, network/plan-related or an issue with my wireless/router/broadband provider. In fact, I’ve not tried this outside my home yet; my network provider & router is with virgin media, are you with a different provider?
