WiFi Calling Not Working on Pixel 8 Pro

I'm trying to use WiFi calling on my Pixel 8 Pro. I've followed the instructions to turn WiFi calling on in settings, and according to the approved handsets lists the Pixel 8 Pro should work with WiFi Calling on the iD mobile network.

Even when WiFi calling is turned on, I notice that in the settings menu it still says “Call over mobile network” - there is no option to change this.

Also when I try aeroplane mode with WiFi on, I get a message saying I'm not connected to a wireless network.

Software is up to date (Android version 14).

Any other ideas?

Hey @callumjethomas,

Please try using the + (Country Code) prefix when dialling. If you’re calling a UK number this is +44 7xxx xxxxxx.

Thanks.
