Hi, so I’ve signed up for a data sim to use in my motor home wifi, I’ve tried to activate the sim but it’s sending a code to the phone number to verify it, I don’t have a phone to put the sim into to activate, is there any way around this? Thanks

Surely you have a friend’s phone you could borrow?

Alternatively probe your routers setting; all wifi routers have ability to send/receive SMS.

    Hi @Harperlillie1

    Thank you for reaching out.

Please note that iD Mobile SIMs are designed and tested for use in compatible mobile handsets. While they may work in other devices, such as routers, we cannot guarantee full functionality or provide support for their use in equipment that has not been tested by us.

To register for the iD Mobile app or My Account, you'll need to insert the SIM into a compatible handset, as verification codes are sent via SMS to the iD Mobile number.

Some routers do provide the ability to view received text messages through their web management interface or companion app. As this functionality varies by manufacturer and model, we recommend referring to your router's user guide or the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to access SMS messages.
