If you bought the phone from iD Mobile, then yes your O2 contract SIM should work,
The phones sold by iD Mobile are not network locked.

+26Mobile phone networks in the UK are no longer allowed to sell locked handsets as of December 17, 2021. This means that any mobile phone purchased from a network after this date should be unlocked and usable on any network. However, phones bought before this date may still be locked to a specific network.
